What Are Success Circles? |
Success Circles are 4 week sessions (that are renewable) and are
comprised of fewer than ten participants. The purpose of these
courses is to bring like-minded women together to experience an
intensive personal and professional development process in a
supportive and dynamic group setting, combating the isolation that is
so prevalent in mother's lives in relation to their career and business
initiatives. If you are a Mom who has been feeling unfulfilled and you
know life should be more productive and satisfying, or are involved in a
home-based business and want more collaboration with others, then
these groups are for you! You can strive and thrive while raising your
children no matter where you are starting from.

Putting You Back on the Map....
Where to Begin?
Loss of your professional self can feel confusing, isolating and
overwhelming... even though you are choosing to be at home with your
children and wouldn't have it any other way. Regardless of how many years
you have been at home with your kids, life can feel better, whether or not you
intend to work outside the home now or at some point in the future.
Rediscover yourself professionally and personally, outside of the needs of
your family. Figure out who you are with regard to your interests, skill,
personality style and values as they relate to your newly defined
professional identity. You can thrive intellectually and professionally while
you are raising your children and position yourself to meet your potential
once your kids are grown.
Standardized career inventories and interpretation (Meyers-Briggs, Strong
Interest Inventory, Values, Skills, etc.) and development of a personalized
career profile are included in this course. Narrow down occupational
possibilities for the future and develop a new career direction that is
conducive to you and your life as a mom. Have a built-in networking group
to bounce ideas off, feel validated and serve as support throughout the trials
of this journey.

Home Moms - From Volunteer to Career:
An Invigorating and Confidence Building
Experience While Creating Your Resume
The process of developing your resume will include the repackaging of your
skills, accomplishments and interests acquired from your earlier
educational and professional experiences, combined with your volunteer
experiences and accomplishments while at home with your children. All
participants will leave this 4 week course with a clear understanding of their
current interests, skills and accomplishments as they relate to future
professional pursuits. Come out of this group with a high impact resume
and elevator pitch. If you want or need to go to work this is a great group for
you.
